DW 7.2 Filter on custom fields

Hi,

Is it possible with the filter functionality in DW 7.2 to build filters that filter on custom fields created in ecom?

When I now create a new filter, for instance a range filter, I can only select the standard Dynamicweb fields to filter on.

Hello, Juriaan

There is a "Product fields" filter which will be available with the actual release. It allows to filter products by the value of the specified product/category field and it renders a list of distinct field values.

That sounds great. But what about a range? For example when the product field is an Integer?

It's common to have custom fields like Size, or Contents that contain values in the range from, say, 1 to 1000. Would be nice if you could add a slider range filter for these kind of fields.

Or will this be extensible somehow?

The range filter will support custom fields.

And it is also extendable. You can create your own filters using a filter provider.
