convert language/areas

Hi,

Can we safelly and programattically (SQL script or .NET) convert some language/areas to a "language management version"?

The idea is to join some language/areas in some clients, without having to move paragraphs from one site to another, in order to start "enjoying" the language management benefits.

Hi Nuno

You can, but it could be a bit difficult.

You have to link some IDs in these tables:

Area - AreaMasterAreaID
Page - PageMasterPageID
Paragraph - ParagraphMasterParagraphID

The master IDs have to link to the parent item from which it inherits its settings. Make sure of course, that all parents in Area, Page and Paragraph is in the same area.
