BOM Product - "Change order" problem

Reply
Hi people

Im building a site with BOM products.

Like this: http://uniplus.net.dynamicweb-cms.com/Webshop/B%C3%A6rbar-PC/HP/Demo/brugte/HP-6930p-EliteBook.aspx

Here I configure the product with, lets say, Windows 7 Proffesional, click on "læg i kurv" and "vis kurv".

So far all is well.

But, if I want to change my order by +1, the product shows up under the first, but the configuration is not copied corretly.

If i try to submit 2 products at the same time, only the first "main product" has the correct configurations.

Is this not doable "out of the box" or how much fixing is needed?

Any ideas?

/Rune

I reproduced the same problem when adding a parts list with a configured price and changed the amount with the increement + in cartv2. Bugged it as bug 6461.

It's a category 1 bug and will be fixed within 12 weeks.

12 weeks? Any chance of a more specific answer? Of course our client cant wait that long.

Any tips on a workarond or something like that?

Have you tested this in Cart V1? Maybe it works there?

Thx!

Hi Tue

We've upgraded this bug and it will be fixed in our next Service Release, which is planned for week 20.

It's not working in cartv1 either.
The bug is now flagged for next service release.

Thanks for the info.

Will the BOM bugfix also adress this:

Its now week 21 and the new Service Release has come out. I can, however, not see any changes in the way the BOM module behaves.

Was this issue not fixed after all?

It has bug number TFS6461 and is not released yet.

You can always follow when a bug is released on the release pages:
http://developer.dynamicweb-cms.com/Releases/Dynamicweb-7.2/Bug-fixes-7.2.3-%28SR3%29.aspx

This bug is marked as "In progress" meaning it is under development but not finished yet.

Sorry for the delay.
