Alter Grouplist (ecom categories) before rendering

I am looking for a way to alter my ecom grouplist before rendering it on my paragraph. Is there a way to do this by override or extenstion of the list?

Hi Kim

Currently there is no such hook...

What are you trying to do - maybe we can add a notification that you can hook into and manipulate the group collection being rendered.
