Admin login in explorer

I've created a custom solution on a development server with DW version 19.1.0.5.
I can login as admin/Administrator just fine in firefox, but not in internet explorer. The server has a proper URL, so it's not accessed via localhost.

It seems to accept my username & password in explorer, because i see the bottom graphics for admin interface, but then it redirects to the login page. Checking the "Remember" checkboxes does nothing (works in FF though).

It seems like cookies are not being set properly. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

It sounds like a security issue.

IE have different security zones (Tools, Internet Options, Security) and when running on localhost you could end up in a different zone. You can see what zone the current URL is in in the status bar of internet explorer.

Add your URL to trusted sites or check out the settings for the zone you run in.

Hmmm... the zone is internet like normal, and changing security settings didn't change anything.
But somehow i made it work, by changing the domain from longsubdomainname.domain.dk to a shorter lsdn.domain.dk
Don't know why it works, but it did
