Perhaps a page?

When you try to access frontend, and no pages have been created, you're sure to receive a 404 error:)

Login into the admin section of the site (http://localhost/admin/) and create at least one page for your site.

According to the installation manual you have to complete the installation process by accessing http://localhost. I have only created the website and the virtual directories and copied the files. Or am I missing something here ??

There are no pages created in the Dynamicweb solution yet, so Dynamicweb redirects you to it's 404 page. This is normal behavior, so your installation appears to be fine.

If you create a new page in Dynamicweb, this page will be served to you when you run http://localhost.
