Zoom value in Maps module

Hi guys,

Is there any way I can also save the Zoom setting when overriding default location settings?

The Lat and Long are saved but I need to render the map at a different zoom.

If it's not currently possible, can you consider it as a feature request?

Thank you,
Adrian

You can set the zoom level on the paragraph app settings.

But on the user object where you set the marker, you cannot control the zoom level as that is a rendering setting. Not sure I understand how that should work, as one object on the map cannot have different zoom than another. It is the map that has a zoom - not the markers in them...?

You can always create a custom field on the user and set some value and handle it the template.

Hi Nicolai,

I did not mean a different zoom level per marker but per Map instance and I see what you mean.

But I cannot find a Zoom parameter on the Map paragraph. Do I have an older version of the paragraph?

Thank you,
Adrian

Maybe... See the docs:

There is a setting "Zoom level"

Hi Nicolai,

I was using the Map Paragraph ItemType from Rapido.

Now I understand what you mean.

Thank you,

Adrian

Ah - that is an item type. So you would have to add a property to the item type and use it in the template
