When sending emails from email marketing, the images are not opened in Outlook

Hello,

I have a question regarding the email marketing section.

We are trying to send a newsletter that contains some images and text but if the recepient is using outlook they need to manually download the images or fiddle with the outlook settings to allow the auto download of the images. Is there any setting for the Marketing section that would allow the images to pass trough the outlook image filter?

Question not understood.

My Outlook does not download images automatically because I do not want it to. Do you want a setting in Dynamicweb that can change the setting in Outlook for all recipients? How do you imagine that should happen...?

Thank you for the quick reply.

I'm not really sure how it works, but when sending emails from Sendgrid for example they do some type of conversion, I think it is called a bit conversion, that allows the images to pass trough the Outlook filter. I was hoping that we might have some setting that will allow us to do the same.

As you can see, might not be the best solution.

Anyways - we do not support it and do not plan to do it. Usually, people who do not see images in newsletters, do not want to. Like me... Forcing them to see something they don't might not be a good idea...
