User Permissions - Read Only in Content - Create new page

In the KWPN sollution we have several content-managers, which are only allowed to access specific pages in the content area. This works fine with the standard permission option. But these content-managers are still allowed to create new pages in de root of the content area, which causes problems in duplicate pagenames (conflicts).

Is there any possibility in preventing / blocking this: I need to set permissions on root-level.

You can remove permissions to create pages in general. But not pages in the root only.

You could add a notification subscriber that will handle the situation if you want...

Hi Nicolai, Where can I find such settings? (preventing specific usergroups from creating new content pages.)

Hi Nicolai, can you give a respond on Jordy's question? It is still an issue.

Hi Jordy and Mannon

The possibilities are described here: http://doc.dynamicweb.com/documentation-8/users/user-management/permissions

There are some limitations in terms of what you want to achieve and what DW can do - sorry about that.
