Use 2 different fields as item title

Hi

 

please see attachment. Is it not possible to use 2 different fields, and merge them as title of the item in a list? We have a costumer that has to have this overview, as it shows what item based newselement is related to what date, and what the title is.

 

In the old news module, it was possible to see both title and newsdate in a list view.

 

How can this be solved it itembased news?

No, that is not possible to combine the name.

In the news list, based on the news item, you can just add the date to the heading part of the template.

Ok, but this is for backend administrator usage. Is it going to be possible to sort the list showing in backend like it is in frontend in the Item Publisher? Could be a setting on an item containing folder?

See the Title secion on this page: http://manual.dynamicweb-cms.com/Default.aspx?ID=7553 - I was wrong - you can combine fields to a title using {{systemName1}}{{systemName2}} as format. See above link.
