upload issue with different browsers

There are file maps for different areas with different permissions. Every area has it's own content manager who has permissions to upload in their own file map.

In some browsers people can upload the files in their own map where they have the permissions for, but in other browsers they can't. Then if they choose upload, the upload screen pops up, but the 'choose file' button is grey.

Is there anything we can do about that to make it work in every browser?

It is a Firefox issue - from old days. What DW version is this? And what FF version?

Is is DW version 8.9.2.3 and FF version 54.0

Should be good. Then it could be a web.config or global.asax issue related to session/cookies - you have to make sure your solution runs all our code.

I am not sure what you mean by that? What could we possible configure which will make your code not run?

Hi Mannon,

it seems there is a bug here - I registered a task 36343 to fix it.

It will be added in nearest hotfix for 8.9.2

The problem TFS#36343 "Filemanager Upload checks permissions wrongly" has now been fixed in version 8.9.2.6
