Tracking currently works for page views only.
We might implement some sort of opt-in tracking for wep api calls in the future.

Morten

Ahh, bummer.

Any chance that "might" and "future" might turn into "definetily" and "as soon as possible"? :D *wink* *wink*

Best regards,

It is not a simple quick fix, since the current tracking solution is tied to page views and there are some technical challenges we need to consider before we can add something similar to web apis.
We could expose some new endpoints so that you can trigger the tracking from client side - similar to how you work with google analytics.
We also need to consider legal issues (like GDPR) and would probably have to expose endpoints for managing cookie preferences, consents, etc.

I have added a work item about web api tracking to our backlog. It will be considered and prioritized by product managers, but I can't tell you if/when this is going to be implemented.

If you have any examples of what you would like to track and how you would use that data then feel free to list them here.

Best regards,
Morten
