Sorting QueryPublisher

Hi Guys,

I know this subject was brought before but I could not find the answer to it.

I am using 9.2.14 and I am trying to Sort the results published with QueryPublisher module.

I am assuming this means that I need to follow a specific way of defining the fields that I will be trying to use for sorting, just like I do for Products.

My first question though is if it's possible to sort the QueryPublisher results using QueryString Parameters. Something like SortBy=Name&SortOrder=Asc

Thanks Nicolai.

I knew I have seen it in another post.

For sorting is it possible to use any field that is present in the index? Or Should I create special ones just for sorting?

You can use any field. But an analyzed field is not good to sort on... "Nicolai Pedersen" is analyzed into 2 tokens, "nicolai" and "pedersen" and hence it makes no sense to sort on that field.
