Smart Searches not always updating

Hi,

 

We have website in 9.10.16, where we have a few User groups associated with SmartSearches. For some reason, even after running the scheduled task for it, the users in the group are not updated. We have to edit the user group and hit "Save".

Can anyone else reproduce this?

You have this setting:

/Globalsettings/Modules/UserManagement/UserSmartSearchesCahceRecalculatingInterval

It is default set to 1 - 1 hour. This means that it will only update once every hour. It is an int, so try setting it to 0 and see if you can update the list.

And change it back so you do not update every 5 minutes when the schedule is running.

Thank you. I had forgotten about this checkbox.

 

I'll play around with it, but at least we understand why it seemed to be working sometimes.
