Search module settings

We have configured the search module using these settings: http://screencast.com/t/Rh8GxLRo. The highest ranked items returned when are News items even though it is excluded in the module: http://screencast.com/t/s0gIcS4vy4l. Is there a way to exclude the Press Releases as well as removing the percentage match?

Hi Terri

Not sure I understand. News in the context of the search weighted, is news from the 'old' news module (http://manual.dynamicweb-cms.com/Dynamicweb-On-line-Manual/Modules/News-v2.aspx).

My guess is, that this website uses items for news, and in the context of search weighted, items are pages. So you can only limit searches using the settings in the page group.

You can get rid of the percentages by removing the tag "DwSearchResultWeight" from the result item template.
