Recover password issues

Hi,

 

We have a peculiar situation:

  • Doube opt-in for registration
  • User does not get first e-mail (SPAM or otherwise)
    • Account stays inactive
  • User tries do recover password, but since it's not active, nothing happens.

 

What to do? Do we need custom dev to do this, or should it be considered a bug?

using 8.5.1.9

Hi Nuno

You are not able to get a Password on a "Inactive user" which makes sense.
So user needs to contact Website responsible or request a new user from website.

Mails lost in spam or otherwise after send from SMTP should not be considered as a bug in Dynamicweb.
