Question about item lists and personalization

Hi,

I have a question about using item lists in combination with the personalization module.

We have a customer who wants a website with a lot of news items, thats why our idea is to use item lists.
There are pages with a 'theme', on those pages we want to show certain items which are tagged with that theme.

And based on the browsing behaviour of the visitor on the site, we want to use personalization to show personalized content (items) on other pages.

The question is, is it possible to use the personalization module to show items from an item list. On the items we would like to add a custom field (tag), on which te personalization module can determine to what theme these items belong?

Hi Harald

Sorry for the long response time.

Items are published with the item publisher which has a filtering section where you can filter on i.e. tag.

For each tag you want to filter, setup a paragraph using the item publisher on the same page.

Using personalisation, show/hide the paragraph related to that tag.

You cannot use a dynamic tag using the users profile to filter the list.
