Purge = True in URL.

Hi,

What does Purge=True imply at the end of a URL?

We have a page with a user control in it. All it does is that it redirects the page. This functionality does not work when we use the friendly URL of the page which is

http://nstwebuat.int.rroom.net/Careers/Current-Vacancies

However, when we use the following URL which has the ID and Purge=True, it works:

http://nstwebuat.int.rroom.net/Default.aspx?ID=76&Purge=True

The button that we are facing problems with is the Go button in the Careers Search Box.

Can you please help with this?

Thanks & Regards,

Yash.

purge=true is when you hit preview from administration and only has an effect when you are logged in. If you are not logged in, you will be redirected to the SEO friendly url of the page without purge=true. Purge simply deletes file based cache if any, and there is none running designs and layout.
