Hi all,

Is there a way to make a pre-order when the product stock is 0?

We're using Live Integration.

Hi David,

 

I would be interested to know as well, but I believe it will be a bit harder than that.

  • Ideally you'd have a specfic ProductType
  • Alternatively you can
    • Set the product to have "Never out of Stock" (checked)
    • Add a (new) custom field for "Pre order" (checked)

 

I believe you should need the custom (boolean) field, so that in search results (where pre-order and regular products would show) you can customize the layout.
