Multiple Rich Text Editor configurations

Is it possible to create multiple RTE configurations ?

Let's say I create a RTE Item Field, but I don't want the end user to be able to insert tables, input fields etc.

Hi Sebastian,

If you use provider based editor then you can set up multiple configurations and for each rich text field on your item types you can select one of these editor configurations in the parameters section. This requires DW 8.4+

Hmmm ... To be sure, I'm running 8.5.1.3

I've created a new editor configuration, see attachment 1

But the parameter dropdown remains at none, see attachment 2

I've tried to reload but nothing happens.

Does "the parameter dropdown remains at none" mean that you cannot select your new editor configuration in the dropdown?

From the look of your first screenshot it seems that you're not using provider based editors (cf. http://manual.dynamicweb-cms.com/Dynamicweb-On-line-Manual/Management-Center/Editing/Interface-settings.aspx). Only these editors are available for use in item fields (cf. http://manual.dynamicweb-cms.com/Default.aspx?ID=7592#31785).

Morten already gave us this hint in his first reply … :-)

Ahhh .... I had no idea I hade to active it first.
