Multi-language back in stock emails

Hi,

We're working with a multi ecommerce language website and are trying to determine the recommended setup for back in stock emails (in DW9).

Currently, we’ve configured a back in stock mail in the marketing module for the Master website. However, it’s unclear to us whether separate configurations are required for each ecommerce language.

To support multiple languages, we tried setting up an additional back in stock mail by changing the "Website" setting in the Recipient Provider. However, when we schedule this mail it shows as N/A in the start date and it never gets send.

Could anyone clarify:
- Do back in stock emails need to be configured separately for each ecommerce language?
- What is the correct way to target the specific language for the email?
- Is this controlled through the "Website" setting in the Recipient Provider, or are other settings required?

Are we looking in the right way to set this up?

Thanks in advance!

Hi,

You can use translated products and slave site has ecom settings to follow the language in frontend. Page has product catalog (to add notification in frontend) should be on the slave site as well. So, if you create notification for the product language version there the email received has the language version of the product. Email can use page (with PC in context mode) placed on master site (and set the slave site for provider's settings mentioned above).

It was tested on DW10 and output correct results.
