Hi,

Not sure if a bug or feature request, but I see the need for the item publisher module account for pages that are not published and/or hidden from the menu.

Show/hide in menu will not have an impact here. They will be published because show/hide in menu has to do with the menu only.

If they are unpublished (Red icon) they should not be published - same goes for if they are out of the publication period.
