Hi Dynamicweb,
I would like to know your thoughts about ITP (2.2) and how to mitigate this to handle cookies?
Best regards, Anders

Hi Anders
My thoughts is that it is a fantastic initiative and that all browsers should do the same. Also not the the new Firefox will also do something and ask users to tighten tracking.
Dynamicweb uses httponly and secure cookies if configured to (See https://doc.dynamicweb.com/documentation-9/platform/platform-tools/cookie-manager), and these cookies cannot be accessed using document.cookie and will therefore not be affected.
In terms of having GA and other tools not totally break, there are a number of workarounds out there, i.e. https://builtvisible.com/what-intelligent-tracking-prevention-itp-2-1-means-for-digital-analytics/
With 9.6 we released some new DW analytics tracking which we are still building on - that will hopefully have features that we can use to replace some of the features in GA at least.
To fully support GA going forward, it should be considered to do the GA tracking serverside.
