How do i configure an index to not index Extranet pages?

I have configured an index that indexes pages and paragraphs for a type-ahead search, but i don´t want to index Extranet pages. That means i will either have to congfigure the index to not index "locked" pages/ pages that require permission - or i will have to exclude all pages that are children/grandchildren etc of a certain pageid.

But how do i do this? I can´t really find any relevant data for this in the query confiugration, but maybe there is some field that I can use  that i don´t know of?

Or is there another way to solve this?

You can mark the pages as "do not include in search" and then they will either not be indexed or you can add an expression to the query to not include them.

Thank you for your reply Nicolai

So just to clarify, it requires ectra configuration of the pages that are not to be included. There is no way around that, correct?

Hi Hans

That is the only way I can think of.
