Generate Password functionality

We are running 9.4.20 of the application. When using the Generate password functionality on a user in the backend, it doesn't create a password that meets the complexity requirements. Is this a known issue or is there a workaround to force it to follow the 'rules'?

Hi Terri

Did you have a look at Settings -> Control Panel -> Users -> Password Security 

Here you are able to Encrypt with algorithm choosing MD5MD5 or SHA512 and set the min. number of characters to 15

When you generate Password on a user these settings should be applied. 

I did a test on this (old) version 9.4.20 at this worked out just fine. 

Could you give me more clues to what is not working or contact support
