Editor removes span div etc..

Hi, is it possible to prevent the editor from deleting span, div etc. written in the the HTML view?

It's DW 8.8.1.32 and with the provider based editor

Taking that you run on the "Provider based" editor (CKEditor), it can be configured to use js as configuration files. Using one of those, you can configure the editor behavior according to what it supports: http://docs.cksource.com/Main_Page

The editor should leave them alone unless they are empty or invalid...
