"The base rules is that most characters we simply remove the diacritics". From the table I notice ß is a single s and no ä

Can we get some kind of patch, this may apply to other languages too...

Hi Kevin

Just testing your scenario - I can find ä in the list - see dump2. And also it seems to be translated on my local latest dw 8, see dump 1.

We cannot change the current formats as it will break other solutions and it will have no effect SEO wise anyways. Please note that the thread you refer to is on DW9 - it handles diacritics in a much different way than dw8.
