Disable Paragraph for page items

Hi.

Im looking for a setting to deactivate the Paragraph menu in a Page Item, so when the new admins want to edit the item they dont get lost/confused by it.

Optionally; is there a way of setting the "Page" menu as the main menu. (the one you see first)

I have tried removing all DW content divs from the template but you still get the Paragraph menu first, only after clicking Page does the buttons get disabled.

Hi Henning

If you for a page based item uses a layout template that has placeholders defined (i.e. <div class="dwcontent">), the UI will give you the Paragraphs menu. So if you create a template for the page item and set it as the default template for that item type (you can do that on the website properties), the button will go away.

And that is what you write you have done - please check that, otherwise provide us with a link so we can check it out.

Thank you very much.

I now see that it has a setting called Default view in the item settings and it was set to Paragraph.
