Change Item Type sytem name

Hi

If I want to change the system name of an Item that i have copied from another solution, is it enough to change the systemname in the XML for the ItemType, or is it more comlicated than that?

I have not yet created any Items based on this specific ItemType.

Hi Hans

If you did not create any data yet, you can just change the name of the XML file and the systemName attribute of items/item node in the XML file.
