Bread crumbs link not working properly

Hi 

I have an issue with the bread crumbs in DW9 v. 16.6. where the URL in the browser does not show the correct path if navigating via the bread crumbs in the webshop.



When navigating using the menu the URL and bread crumb in the shop looks OK, but when clicking on one of the links in the shop-breadcrumb (2), the URL looks like this: 
In the below example I clicked 'Fugemasse' in the above breadcrumb (2). Is there any setting or similar in standard DW that controls this behaviour?

Hi Adrian,

Yes, the breadcrumb is was not made to exactly represent the URL, I recommend checking the template and verifying how exactly it is created / from which data it is fetched

There are some settings available for the URL behavior in terms of the behavior when clicking the links

But I would also inspect the html and check the breadcrumb template to see where it get's the url from and if it can be changed
