APPS Section - UI dead end

Hi guys,

I've been annoyed by this a few times now, and now's the time to make a post about it :-)

When entering the APPS section and entering an app i.e. the new Data Portability app (doesn't matter which app), you have no obvious exit = "back to apps list" button – to get back and pick another app you need to refresh your browser and click on the APPS button again... Bad UI = Bad UX.

So some kind of "back thingy" is needed.

You can double-click on the Apps icon. Does that help?

OOOHH, yes that works...
BUT I think it's a really dirty UI/UX approach. It is not obvious at all... and I've been using DW for 19 years, first time I've ever had to double-click (as I remember it), so I think it breaks the general UI conventions of DW.

As Jacob Nielsen says is:
"...double-click must die since it causes novice users great difficulties and since it conflicts with the single-click interaction style of the Web"

Yes, you are right! I also think it is weird that you cannot go back. Will talk to head of development and make him change it!
