Adding group rights to file folder in DW7

I want to restrict access to files in file folder (DW 19.2.9.4).

I right click on the folder and select group rights. Here I choose a group from Other groups and move it to Members.
But there is still public access to the files in the folder.

How do I ensure that only people logged in have access to the files in a folder?

You will need to set up a Secure folder and for this you will need the Extranet-module:

You will also need to remove read-permissions on the folder (and its subdirectories if needed) on the server. You can ask the support for help, by creating a case, if the solution is hosted at Hostnordic.

When done, the files will not be accessible for users, unless they are logged in and use our DWSDownload.aspx component to download the files.
