Hi I want to change the labels "Navigation" and "Swift setup" to something else. According to this it should be possible to change an existing area tree, but the sample code only shows how to create a new custom section/tree.

You cannot change the "Navigation" section - as that is hard coded.
On every page in the root, you can define your own sections:
