Hi,
How can you recognize a master (family or regular) in the database when it has no variants anymore ?
It will have no:
- Variantid
- variantgrouprelations
- Variantcounter
- etc.
I don't see how to distinguish from a regular product

Then I think it'll fall back to being a standalone product. One other sign could be the absense of a product number as that's usually empty on a master. However, that's not guaranteed, so you can't tell for sure.

Hi,
There's also the ProductVariantCounter column. It would be 0 if there are no variants.

I think that's what Davy meant with Variantcounter
Ah, right... ( :facepalm )
