ShowInMenu property not being honored in Navigation Templates

Hi

DW 9.17.5

Swift 1.26.6

It seems this setting (Show in menu) is not being honored in Navigation Templates - Templates/Designs/Swift/Navigation/

 

 

It is being honored in Item type Menu: Ecom with Related Content for example - Templates/Designs/Swift/Paragraph/Swift_MenuRelatedContent.cshtml

 

Is this a bug?

It is not the template that has to respect that setting.

It depends on how you create the navigation - on the navigation settings you have a IncludeFoldersAndHidden setting that can be switched on and off. If on, those nodes will be included in ther navigation tree returned - and then you can look into in the template, if need be.

But the templates them selves do not need to make that check. In your example above, I would say it is a bug that the check is actually in the template....
