Hi,

I wanted to create a sitemap so I can submit it to Google Search Console.

I follow your documentation about this:

  • create a new page
  • insert new row
  • Insert App
  • select "site map" make the settings

When I do so I just get this error message: File not found (XSLT: 'D:\dynamicweb.net\Solutions\Dynamicweb\T3L.cloud.dynamicweb-cms.com\files\templates\SitemapV2\SitemapV2.xslt' (/files/templates/SitemapV2/SitemapV2.xslt))

See also screenshots.

Your site already have a sitemap.xml for search console - access it by adding /sitemap.xml to your domain.

The above feature is very old and is used to insert a sitemap on a page - that was a thing some 20 years ago, but not any more:

Looked something like this:

I attempted to paste the URL into Google Search Console, but it flagged some issues.

The sitemap is accessible, but the URLs are incomplete.

They appear as "www.djois.com/.....". However, Google requires the URLs to be fully specified, including "https://www.djois.com".

Is there a way to fix that?

I found the solution!

In the settings for our domains in the DW platform, we had only configured djois.dk and www.djois.dk. I’ve now added a new entry: https://djois.dk, and set it as the primary domain. After doing this, Google was happy. Can you confirm that this is the best/right way to do it?
