Now an then an error when submitting orders

Hi,

Sometimes this error is generated when an order is being submitted from dw to BC with the LiveIntegration.

Is there anything I can do to prevent this?

Hi Justin,

I wasn't able to reproduce this issue, I tried to edit some Item properties on the Item Card page and running CreateOrder request from the TestTool.
Maybe there are some more complex steps to get it reproduced?
Do you have some third party extensions installed on BC or custom subscribers implemented that can be related to this issue?
Can  you check if it is connected with discounts (checkbox ERP controls discount calculations on/off) or shipping fees (when Dynamicweb controls shipping)?
Also you can find the database locks in the BC using searching inside BC for "Locks" as described in this article.
So it is needed to have more information about this issue to be able to find some solution.

The exception is coming from BC - creating orders live is generally problematic as it delays the time before the receipt is shown and if stuff like this happens, it is not good.

If you switch to batch integration you can also re-run the job if it fails.
