Hello

If you switch from the old web service based "active directory login" External Authentication to Microsoft 365/Azure AD login. Do you still need to import the users to DW first? It is not described in documentation https://doc.dynamicweb.com/documentation-9/users/external-authentication/microsoft-365-azure-ad

Hi Kim

No, you do not have to move users. After login using Azure AD the user will be in Dynamicweb - with a mapping on the user object using email address and then a related record in ExternalAuthentication tables.

Hi Nicolai

I can't find the table ExternalAuthentication and I'm on version 9.16.1
I have an error message that says "External login succeeded with no local account" so I just wanted to check the table that you mention as "ExternalAuthentication"

I found it "AccessUserExternalLogin" and its all good :)
