Hi Sir

Our customers is asking why there is no data for orders statistics – traffic sources to sales.   May I know where this data come from?   Or at least direct should have some records,  but currently is 0.   We do enabled both statistic and tracking options upon LIVE.   Appreciate your advise.

Thanks

Pang Lin

Hi Pang Lin

It comes from the table Statv2Session in the field Statv2SessionRefererDomain column and is linked to orders using the Statv2Object table in the column Statv2ObjectElement where the orderid should be. So you should have data there (and orders) that matches using the orderID and Statv2SessionSessionID that should be both on orders and in Statv2 table.

To get data "Enable statistics" should be set.

Dear Nicolai

I had checked the table and follow the design and did an excel export and use vlookup to get all the necessary field.   and I observed that even though there is data, refer to image below.   But there is still no data in DW statistic.  Please advise where could go wrong.

Here are my queries.

  1.  Why most of the order was registered under NULL and not shakesshack.ph?
  2. There are orders come from Facebook, google, direct.  But the graph still show 0, how to make it showed?

Thanks

Pang Lin

Many browsers and services do not send referers anymore - i.e. Google specifically removes the Referer header and many sites these days issue a referer policy (https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/docs/Web/HTTP/Headers/Referrer-Policy) that disables adding the information. So basically this is a useless statistics and we cannot fix it.

This has happened due to security issues, tracking issues and sorts. And Google wants to force people into using analytics.
