Cart templates with v2 suffix

Hi,

I'm working on creating a checkout on a single page for a simple b2b shop based on the new Swift 1.25 templates. 

For several partial templates there is also a _v2 suffixed version. 

On first sight if I compare them I can see diffrences but I'm having trouble understanding the purpose of the split.

Can someboy clarify?

They do things a bit differently in terms order of steps and which fields are used for what - customer vs. delivery. So I think mostly that.
