I have a solution that uses Live Integration to AX where AX can return discount lines for products. That all works fine. The customer now would like to use DynamicWeb's voucher code system to add percentage based discounts to the cart also. They want this because DW's voucher/discount system is very flexible, allowing them to create very specific rules for when it applies.
We tried setting up a discount up but ran into trouble. When "ERP Controls Discounts" is on, the voucher discount never makes it to the ERP. When we turn it off, the lines from AX are pretty much ignored. All of that makes sense with the current setup, I think.
Is there a solution to make this work anyway? I'd be happy with any solution that gives me the discount value (or even the specified percentage on the discount) based on a voucher code. And I don't need it as a line either, happy to store it as a custom field in the order XML so AX can use it to the calculation and we would only do the discount / code validation.
Would this be possible somehow? Has anyone done something similar in the past?
