Searching news in Search Weighted

Hi,

In the documentation about 'Search Weighted' they talk about the 'Searching news' setting (https://doc.dynamicweb.com/documentation-9/content/apps/search-weighted). This is exactly the setting I need, but unfortunately I can't find it. Do I need to activate anything for this?

Hi Caro

You are implementing a Swift right? Then you need to use the content search feature of Swift that is based on the index: https://doc.dynamicweb.com/swift/setup-project/other/content-and-product-search

Weighted search is quite old and have some limitations. The news it is documenting is our deprecated news module which you probably do not have on your solution.

Hi Nicolai,

Thanks, the 'Content Search' is indeed what I need. 

Unfortunately, it still doesn't work after following the documentation. If I complete the steps and then link the page to my search, it finds nothing. I have added screenshots of my settings.

Did you build the content index?

We need access to the solution if you cannot find the missing link your self - please contact care so they can have a look at the setup.
