Differences results between using Connector Test Tool and Liveintegration in backoffice

Hi,

Im experience some differences between using the "DynamicwebConnectorTestTool (2.5.0)" and the liveintegrationen in Dynamicweb Admin backoffice.

Both are set up to use the same Web service URL from the server.

Any suggestions to why this is like that? I would expect it to be the same outcome.

Hi Marie,
maybe there is a connection issue with the access to the Dynamicweb Web service server or NAV server from the Dynamicweb web site server. If your NAV instance is running on another server/network than your Dynamicweb installation, you must make sure that your network and firewall settings allow connections from the Dynamicweb website server to the web service exposed by the Dynamicweb Connector.
Check that the firewall allows connections on port 7047 (or whichever port you have configured NAV to use when exposing the web service)

Hi,

The firewall is opened for the port for NAV.
I can call the NAV service URL from the server in the browser without any issues, but when I go through Dynamicweb Admin Liveintegration setup it doesn't work, which seems odd ?

Hi Marie,
can you visit the Dynamicweb service url from the server where the Dynamicweb website is located in the browser?
Are your test tool and Dynamicweb web site located on the same server?
You can also check if you have not selected any Endpoint in the Live integration settings, since Endpoint takes priority if it is selected.
