Visiting first page in page tree results in blank page (9.15.3)

Hello! Visiting the first page in page tree results in blank page, when you access it by the exact url and not "/". I've been able to recreate the bug on the two seperate solution running 9.15.3, but not on a 9.15.2.

This is bug #12348 which has just been fixed today. Look for Dynamicweb 9.15.8

It is related to "Redirect first page to /" setting on the website settings - if disabled, it works.

Thanks! Did you mean 9.15.9? As far as I can tell, 9.15.8 is what we're currently using.

Should this be available on 9.15.6 (the most recent version that came out today)?

It doesn't appear to work for us. We still get a blank page when the URL is /default.aspx, and it doesn't redirect to /. That's the same situation I saw on another site a few weeks ago on 9.15.3 (this site was 9.15.3 this morning too).

I left it broken here: https://qa-awc.mydwsite5.com/. However, it's difficult to test because it uses SSO and doesn't have a standard login. If you need a way to repro, let me know and I'll set something up.

It should be out. I'll have it checked on latest.

Hi Scott

The fix for #12348 is indeed included in 9.15.6 and works fine when I test it, so I think you're seeing something else.

Could you please set up an repro example and mail me the details

/Morten

Thanks Morten for checking. We figured out what our issue was. It's through an obscure issue which Lora has posted here: https://doc.dynamicweb.com/forum/ecommerce-standard-features?ThreadID=87283

We can consider this particular thread good then in 9.15.6.

Thanks,
Scott
