Negative values on discounts

Hi there,

I just noticed that you can no longer assign a negative value to an order discount. Is that a deliberate choice? We used that in the past to add a fee to the cart. If it is on purpose, what's the recommended approach for adding fees? I could use a FeeProvider but find it a bit invisible / hard to configure. Would a discount extender returning a negative value make sense?

According to the code base, that has not changed for at least 2 years...

But what about taxes - that will add additional cost on an order.

I am not sure what would happen if a discount provider returns a negative number.
