Hi

We have a solution with more than 600.000 products. When one product index is being build the build process fails with this error:

2022-11-15 14:10:00.944: Running. ThreadID: 57
2022-11-15 14:10:00.944: BuildIndex failed.. System.Exception: Build with name {Update} is not found at Dynamicweb.Indexing.IndexService.<>c__DisplayClass16_0.<BuildIndex>b__0(Tracker tracker)
2022-11-15 14:10:00.944: BuildIndex failed.
2022-11-15 14:10:00.960: Failed. ThreadID: 57

Any ideas of what is causing this error?

Hi

Found this thread and found out we had a scheduled task that triggered a build before the previous had completed.

Hi Theint

Where do you see the error?

If you have it in monitoring, it indicates you have a scheduled task that runs with a setting to build an index task that no longer exists.

Can you share a screenshot or some more context where and how you encounter this error?

Hi Mr. Nicolai,

Thank you for your quick response. Yes, I saw the error in monitoring. Besides the 5-minute scheduled task for the Repository task handler, we have another configuration that runs daily at 7 AM. I noticed that the product repository has been failing day by day. Could this daily scheduled task be the problem? May I get some advice?

Error Log in Monitoring:

BuildIndex failed.
System.Exception: Build with name {Products} is not found
at Dynamicweb.Indexing.IndexService.<>c__DisplayClass16_0.<BuildIndex>b__0(Tracker tracker)

Best Regards,

Theint

Yes, I believe it is that task that causes the issue. Try disabling it or re-configure it to have a valid build
