Breadcrumb issues

Hi DW,

I would like to know if there is a way in swift to add breadcrumb navigation to content pages in Swift?

I have tried to allow the breadcrumb items to be used on regular pages, but no luck in getting any breadcrumbs to show.

And on the product lists there is no other way to add breadcrumbs than the product list header item, which works alright, it would just be great if they were clickable.

And then on the product the breadcrumbnavigation item shows only "Produkter" (as seen below) when it is published, and non of the prior layers of navigation.

Am i completely missing something in the setup of breadcrumbs?😅

Hi Martin

Which Swift version is it running on. We made some improvement regarding breadcrumbs which is in 1.13.1.
However, a Swift 1.14.0 will soon be released which also has the improvements

Hi Jennifer,

This particular store is still running 1.12, i didn't catch the improvements in 1.13.1 but ill have a look.

Im looking forward to seeing the improvements in 1.14.

Is it planned that Breadcrumbs will only work on ecom lists/details?

Or will it also work on contentpages?

Hi Martin

From 1.14.1 Breadcrumb works on content pages

There is a breadcrumb itemtype/content element that can be placed on the pages, where you want to use it
On the pages, remember to go to Page properties / Menu item tab, enable 'Show in breadcrumb' trail. It you want it to be shown
