Loyalty Points Usage

Hello!

I believe I've stumbled across a bug in Ecommerce > Loyalty points after reviewing this screencast with a colleague. After a user earns loyalty points, the Reward rule's usage metrics do not update to indicate it's been utilized. Or perhaps there's just a task we're missing that populates the usage data for Reward rules. Either way, can you advise?

Screencast breakdown:

  • 0:00 Validating that the signed-in user does not have any loyalty points
  • 0:10 Creating a new Reward rule in Ecommerce > Loyalty points
  • 0:38 Purchasing indicated product on frontend
  • 0:59 Confirming that the loyalty points were associated to the user record
  • 1:08 Showing that the Reward rule still shows '0' as the Times used value and Show usage remains empty.

Hello Melissa,

I was able to reproduce the issue on solution based on last DW9.10.13 as well and see the usage amount can be updated after recycling of related IIS pool only. New task 8439 has been submitted to fix the bug in upcoming release.Thanks for observing.

Hi Melissa

The problem with #8439 where Loyalty Points Usage updated on recycle only

Has now been fixed in Dynamicweb version 9.13.12
