Hi,

We have a request from a couple of customers who would like to be able to have shared dashboards.

It's quite hard, if you have many editors, to set up customized dashboards for each user and keep them updated.

It would be very nice to be able to configure visibility of a dashboard for example with permissions.

Yeah, that would be very helpful. I like to get users an updated version of a dashboard with some new SQL code. I can see a few options currently:

1. Explain them how to do it themselves
2. Get their password and do it for them

Are there other options? One thing that came to mind is impersonating backend users so I could do it for them without having their credentials. Is that on the roadmap somehow?

Any other ideas are welcome!

This will change with DW10. Before that, nothing will be changed - even though this would be a good change.

Hi, I solved it by creating a task that copies the administrators dashboard to users in a specific groups. Works nicely. Regards / Aki
