Issues creating a new project on Dynamicweb version 9.13.0

Hello!

After creating a new project using the newest DW version 9.13.0, I get in an endless loop between customerproject/admin and customerproject/Admin/Access/Setup/Default.aspx (302). Furthermore i get an error in Files/System/Log/Provider with the following message:

"2022-02-03 14:24:06.6094|Provider|ERROR|GetProviders|Login failed for user ''."

This would not surprise me, since i have not yet been able to setup a connection to a database, again the project is brand new.

Can this be a local issue? Anyone had any luck creating a new empty project and installing DW in it using version 9.13.0?

Hi Thomas

It can be related to our latest security hotfix we released.I will have QA take a look. You can change the global settings directly in global settings: https://doc.dynamicweb.com/get-started/introduction/installation/installing-a-pre-existing-solution#sideNavTitle1-4

The solution is completly fresh. The only files in the /Files folder are the logs generated by dynamicweb at inital run. There's a Global settings in /Admin folder, which is empty, as should be expected.

So the GlobalSettings.aspx does not yet exist in the /Files folder.

Looking forward to repons from QA

They already got back - it is a know issue and has been fixed and currently on its way through the pull and merge process.

Until there is a release of that, you can download the /files and database and setup using the download.
